Formed by truth
Scripture at the center
Each session is built around the Word—clear, practical, rooted in historic, orthodox Christianity. You don’t have to create teaching from scratch; we provide a focused track you can run with.
Tun Tavern Men’s Ministry
You’re not just starting a Bible study—you’re forging a band of brothers who stand firm in truth, carry each other through trial, and live on mission together.
New to leading? We’ll give you a ready-to-run playbook and walk with you through the first seven weeks.
Why launch a Tun Tavern study?
Most men don’t need another event on the calendar—they need brothers next to them in the fight. Tun Tavern studies move men from rows to circles: from isolation to intentional, shoulder-to-shoulder discipleship.
Formed by truth
Each session is built around the Word—clear, practical, rooted in historic, orthodox Christianity. You don’t have to create teaching from scratch; we provide a focused track you can run with.
Forged in brotherhood
Guided questions help men move past clichés into confession, encouragement, and shared accountability—without turning the room into a therapy circle or a lecture hall.
Focused on mission
Each series points toward concrete next steps in homes, churches, workplaces, and communities—so impact doesn’t stall out when the series ends.
How we support you
We don’t just hand you a binder and wish you luck. We set you up once, then keep materials and communication flowing so you can focus on the men in the room.
We learn about your context, walk through the 75–90 minute run-sheet, and clarify expectations. You’ll know how the room should feel and where you’re headed over the first seven weeks.
Before each gathering, you’ll receive the full teaching pack by email and a quick heads-up in a private Signal channel so you’re never surprised by what’s coming.
We stay available for light coaching, tough nights, and “what would you do with this?” moments—so you’re not carrying the weight alone.
Leader onboarding
For the first seven weeks, we train your leader and stand with your group so confidence, culture, and cadence get set the right way from day one.
Track One
A focused space where leaders practice the flow, prep the upcoming week, and work through real scenarios.
Track Two
You attend our Tun Tavern cadre for the first stretch to watch, shadow, and then step into leadership.
Track Three
By Week 7, you’re leading your own room. We’re present alongside you (in person or virtually, as feasible) to support, commission, and plan what’s next.
Leader ethos
Tun Tavern leaders are ordinary men who are willing to go first in humility, courage, and consistency.
You don’t need a seminary degree or a spotless record. You do need a teachable heart, a love for the men in front of you, and a desire to grow as a disciple who makes disciples.
We’ll provide a Leader Covenant, a clear playbook, and coaching in the early weeks so you’re never guessing what “good” looks like in the room.
What you receive
You bring the relationships and the room. We’ll keep the content and tools flowing to support you.
Where could you launch?
The same Tun Tavern teaching content can be run in different environments. Start where you already have trust and relationship, and let the brotherhood grow from there.
Gather men around a dining table, garage, or fire pit—ideal for dads, neighbors, and longtime friends.
Use Tun Tavern content within your existing men’s ministry, Sunday night groups, or midweek gatherings.
Early morning, lunch-hour, or after-hours cohorts for coworkers who want more than surface-level conversation.
Use the same tracks with men serving together on teams, shifts, and units where brotherhood is already part of the culture.
