We exist to challenge men to live boldly for Jesus, sharpen one another, and advance God’s Kingdom with courage. Inspired by the original Tun Tavern— birthplace of the U.S. Marine Corps—we’re raising up men of God who stand firm in truth, fight for holiness, and lock arms in authentic brotherhood. It all began with two men, two Bibles, and a basement called “Tun Tavern,” where God started forging warriors.
Why We Exist
We’re living in a moment where many men feel isolated, distracted, and spiritually dull. God has called us to something higher—to resist sin and cultural compromise, stand firm in Christ, and live as warriors for His Kingdom.

We forge Christian warriors—men who are bold in faith, rooted in their identity in Christ, authentic in relationships (Proverbs 27:17), growing in virtue, and engaged daily in God’s Kingdom mission.

Statement of Faith
Tun Tavern Ministry stands firmly on the historic Christian faith—rooted in Scripture, centered on Jesus, and submitted to God’s design for life, family, and mission.
God
We believe in the one true God—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—the Creator of all things. Jesus lived a sinless life, died for our sins, rose on the third day, and reigns forever.
Life, Gender, & Marriage
We believe life begins at conception; that God created humanity male and female; and that marriage is a covenant union between one man and one woman.
The Role of Men
Men are called to provide, protect, and lead with humble, sacrificial love, following the example of Christ our Good Shepherd.
Salvation & Faith
We are saved by grace through faith in Jesus alone. We call men to repentance, confession of Christ as Lord, and a daily life of abiding in Him.
Baptism
We believe baptism is a post-salvation step of obedience and a public declaration of new life in Christ, symbolizing death to sin and resurrection to new life.
The Gospel & Scripture
Jesus alone is Lord and Savior. Scripture is God-breathed, infallible, and authoritative for all of life and godliness. We do not add to or subtract from His Word.
