Tun Tavern Men’s Ministry began in the simplest way possible—two men, two Bibles, and a hunger for the presence of God. About four years ago, Mike and Beau sat together in Crowfoot Coffee in Castle Rock, opening the Scriptures, sharpening one another, and refusing to settle for lukewarm faith (Revelation 3:16). Soon, a second and third man joined. What started as a quiet table in a coffee shop moved into Mike’s basement—now known as Tun Tavern—and God began to move.
Week after week, men came—not for programs, not for image, not for convenience—but because they were tired of living in silence and bondage. They came ready to tear down walls, confess struggles, break chains, and walk in the light together (James 5:16). They came to fight for holiness, identity, and purpose as sons of the living God (Galatians 5:1).
What began with two, became many. Men told other men. Brothers invited brothers. Wounds were healed. Marriages began to strengthen. Hearts were set on fire for Jesus Christ. And the Lord continued to add to the number.
Today, Tun Tavern Men’s Ministry gathers every Wednesday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., where nearly 48 men meet consistently to open God’s Word, hold each other accountable, pray with power, and call one another to live boldly for Christ (Proverbs 27:17; Joshua 1:9). And now, the brotherhood has expanded beyond the walls of the basement. Men join virtually from Grand Junction, New Jersey, South Dakota, and Tennessee—because the hunger for authentic biblical brotherhood has no borders.
