Meet Your Speakers

Three men will lead the Advance through a focused journey of biblical manhood, identity in Christ, and living with mission and purpose. Select play to hear directly from each speaker.

Being a Man

Mike Brumbaugh

Founder & President, Tun Tavern Ministry

A former U.S. Marine infantryman who served two combat tours in Iraq, Mike surrendered his life to Jesus in 2005. Today, he works as a federal Regional Project Manager while leading Tun Tavern Ministry’s mission of discipleship, strengthening families, and developing bold biblical leaders. Mike and his wife, Liz, have been married for 20 years.

Identity in Christ

Dr. Don McReavy

Executive Director, Exchanged Life Ministries

With more than 30 years of pastoral service across Texas, Illinois, and Colorado, Don has dedicated his life to equipping believers to walk in the freedom of Christ. He holds a ThM from Dallas Theological Seminary and a Doctor of Ministry from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, and he is the author of Entrusting the Treasure. His teaching ministry serves leaders locally and believers around the world.

Mission & Purpose

Kent Shaw

Church-Planting Leader & Marketplace Veteran

Kent spent 20 years in healthcare sales and executive management with high-tech startups before transitioning to full-time ministry. Over the last two decades, he has helped lead church-planting organizations that established 200 churches across 22 countries, with a strong record of long-term sustainability. Kent and his wife, Nancy, have been married for more than 46 years and live in Denver near their children and grandchildren.

The Journey of the Weekend

The teaching is designed to build from who a man is, to where his identity is rooted, to how he lives that truth with purpose.

01

Being a Man

Recognize the calling, responsibility, courage, and character of biblical manhood.

02

Identity in Christ

Stand on the truth of who you are in Christ and walk in the freedom He has already given you.

Carry your faith into your family, work, church, community, and the mission God has placed before you.
